The regime also freed a number of other journalists whom had already been arrested by Israeli army after its raid on al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, IRNA cited the news network on Tuesday.
After being freed, al-Ghoul said the Israeli forces did keep him and other journalists for 12 hours without clothes while they were blindfolded.
He underlined that he was severely beaten before being detained.
“Israeli forces destroyed media equipment and arrested journalists gathered in a room used by media teams,” he told Al Jazeera.
Through arresting journalists and attacking on them at the hospital, the Israeli regime aims to threaten media members in order to prevent them from covering its crimes in Gaza.
Since October, 2023, over 31,000 Palestinians mostly women and children have been killed by the Israeli regime after it started bombarding the city relentlessly.
